Ronald Reagan Skatepark Review

Ronald Reagan Skatepark has been under construction for the past few months and has just reopened as the newest skatepark in town. (Mountain Park 2 is close behind). I had the chance to skate there this weekend and I am thoroughly pleased. This park is fun.

The new Ronald Regan Skatepark is phenomenal. It is condensed to say the least and has sort of a diy feel to it. The new park rides really fast. There is a lot of transition here that is generally on the smaller side. The biggest quarterpipe is about 5-6 feet high. There are banks, rails, curbs, and bumps in addition to the quarterpipes. A lot of ins, a lot of outs. Skateboarders had definitely designed this park because it flows perfectly.

My first ride through it I could tell that this park was designed for speed.  The set up is tight. There is not a lot of rolling room between obstacles. Meaning that if you wanna hit the gloryhole, your going to have to hit the bump beforehand. Everything is strategically placed for you to maintain your momentum.

A huge thank you to the builders of the new Ronald Regan! This park is how a skatepark should be. I can tell I am going to be coming here a lot and am going to have tons of fun learning to ride the new crete.
